Mandatory Dress Code

Purdance believes that having a dress code will greatly benefit children by helping students focus on dance discipline, proper body alignment, placement and dance etiquette in classrooms. Purdance’s Children and Teens Program attire promotes unity, mutual growth and spirit among our young dancers. The set of standard clothing worn by the students will also enable instructors to guide a dancer’s alignment and positioning to prevent any risk of injuries.

How to order Children and Teens Program attire

Please purchase class attire at the in-studio Purdance Shop before class starts and allow about thirty minutes for staff to find the correct sizing for dancewear and shoes. For additional sizes and apparel options, our staff will be happy to help with placing new orders. If you would like assistance with ordering and measurements, please email info@purdance.com or call (408)444-LEAP to schedule a fitting with us.

Purdance Children and Teens Dress Code

Students are required to the dress code. A student who continually refused to follow the dress code maybe asked to sit out of class.

Be sure to label all shoes with first and last name.

We do not require dance shoes to be part of our dress code, however we do recommend getting dance shoes at the Purdance Shop in order to match with the rest of dancers for performances and competitions.
