How do I register my child for a class?
Registering for classes at Purdance is quick and easy! Your first step is to create an account with us through our customer portal. The customer portal will show you a personalized class list with class options that best suit your young dancer. Once you have selected your class, simply finish the checkout process to secure your spot in the class.
How do I know which class is right for my child?
At Purdance, we pride ourselves in our diverse programming for our Children and Teens classes. There are a lot of factors that go into finding the right fit for your child, but we encourage you to check out our Leveling Guide to learn more about each of our class styles and levels. Still unsure? Contact the Purdance management team for more guidance.
We are considering signing up for classes, but are unsure. Do you offer trial classes?
We do! You can register for a drop-in class through our customer portal. We recommend registering at least one week in advance of the trial class.
When is the 2021-2022 Season?
Our season runs from August to June each year. Students who would like to perform in our annual recital, or move up a level in the following season must complete the entire season.
When can I sign my child up for dance classes?
If you would like for your child to participate in our annual recital at the end of the dance season, you must enroll between August 2021-October 2021.
How do I stay updated with class announcements, holiday closures, and other important information about my child’s dance classes?
Email is our primary form of communication with parents, so please opt-in to receive our emails in your customer portal. Please keep all email addresses, phone numbers, and emergency contact information up to date.
What are your COVID-19 safety protocols?
All students, parents, faculty and staff are required to wear masks when inside of the Purdance building. We require anyone entering our building to complete a symptom assessment and temperature check upon entry. Staff are following a strict cleaning schedule which requires each dance studio to be cleaned at the start of each class. Class sizes are currently restricted based on the size of its classroom.
