Nami Kim started dancing since she was a young girl and fell in love with the culture and community of dance. Originally from Korea, she started dance there and came to America in 20xx. When she moved to the Bay Area in 20xx,  she started an annual showcase that allowed students from all over to perform and show their talent in different venues. Fast forward X years later, she reached her dream of opening up her own dance studio and provided the perfect space for dancers of all ages to express themselves through dance. Today, Nami continues to build Purdance to its greatest potential and encourage dancers, new and current, to keep reaching artistic excellence.
