Hannah Deges was born and raised in Davenport, Nebraska. She graduated from Midland University with a degree in Arts Management and Theater Performance. During her time at the University she competed with a nationally ranked dance team and was cast in major theater productions. Hannah’s featured roles include Tracy in Hairspray, Holly in The Wedding Singer, and Bianca in Kiss Me Kate. After her time at the University Hannah made her way west to California and eventually found her dance home at Purdance. Currently, she enjoys her time as the Studio Manager of Purdance, encouraging others in their love and passion for dance, and spending time with her husband and puppies on the weekends.
Assistant Studio Manager
Meela Nunez is that assistant manager at Purdance. She is originally from San Diego, CA and just recently moved to the bay area. Meela started training professionally with companies, Kruciaal Element and <ThaMost. Currently, Meela is studying at San Jose State University to obtain a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Dance. Her mission as a Dance Educator is to help promote knowledge and basic fundamentals of hip hop dance. She hops to promote self-confidence and acceptance, prosperity, positivity, unity, and most of all fun in her Hip Hop Classes at Purdance!
vanessa sanchez de tagle
Adult Program Administrator | Studio Rental Manager
Vanessa Sanchez De Tagle was born and raised in San Jose, CA. She began her dance journey at the age of three at a local dance studio where she explored all styles and later discovered her love for hip hop. At thirteen, she began training in hip hop and then later joined a hip hop team when she entered high school. Vanessa has performed in several school productions and continued to perform throughout college. She is currently the Studio Rental Manager and Adult Program Administrator at Purdance and enjoys taking dance classes in her free time.
Children and Teens Administrator
Audrey Richter is a dancer, instructor, and choreographer based in the Bay Area. She is originally from Birmingham, Alabama, where she graduated from the Alabama School of Fine Arts Dance Department. Audrey holds a BFA in Dance Performance from the University of South Florida. Her performance credits include Collective Soles Dance Company, Onelight Dance Company, as well as several commercial and freelance works. She has held many teaching positions including adjunct faculty at Southeastern University and Florida Southern College. Audrey is thrilled to join the Purdance family for the 2019-2020 Season teaching Ballet and Leaps and Turns!
